How ChromaForge uses AI-assisted generation and refinement inside the tool workflow.

Where AI is used

ChromaForge can use AI to generate texture images, interpret material prompts, and suggest settings for PBR maps or masks. Local deterministic processing is also used for tileable passes, map generation, exports, and fallback behavior.

Purpose and intent

ChromaForge is designed as a creative and prototyping tool. The goal is to help developers quickly generate placeholder materials, test ideas, and explore visual directions during development.

It is not intended to replace professional artists. High-quality, final production assets are best created by skilled human artists, and users are encouraged to support and commission artists where possible.

Generated assets should be considered a starting point - something to build from, refine, or replace - rather than a finished, production-ready solution.

Your prompts and uploads

Do not submit private, confidential, illegal, or rights-infringing material. You are responsible for any prompts, uploads, and exported assets you choose to use outside ChromaForge.

Generated output

AI-generated output can be imperfect or unpredictable. Always review generated textures, maps, masks, and metadata before using them in production or publishing them.

Shared libraries

Generated textures and biome assets may appear in shared libraries with creator attribution, unless removed by an admin or anonymised through account deletion.
